Fortnite has removed an emote after an animation glitch rendered it NSFW
The Bear Hug synchronized emote, which cost 200 V-bucks, was designed to bring two players together in a friendly embrace. However, it appears that crouching just before using the emote can result in some awkward positioning, making it a little more risqué than intended.
DatOneJackalope captured the animation gaffe on Twitter, prompting Epic to pull the emote from store shelves until it could be fixed. It's no longer available in the Fortnite store, and anyone who already has the emote can't use it.
The removal was announced on Fortnite's service update Twitter account, and anyone who purchased it was offered a token-free refund. There was no word on when the emote would be reactivated and available for purchase.
