iPhone 18 Series and iPhone Air 2 Display Sizes Revealed; Pro Models May Get Under-Display Face ID

iPhone 18 Series and iPhone Air 2 Display Sizes Revealed; Pro Models May Get Under-Display Face ID

A recent leak has revealed the expected display sizes for the upcoming iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Air 2. All models are expected to feature LTPO AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, the iPhone 18 Pro models could adopt a smaller, repositioned Dynamic Island design, while the Face ID sensors may move beneath the display.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via Weibo), the standard iPhone 18 will likely have a 6.27-inch LTPO 120Hz screen with a Dynamic Island. The iPhone Air 2 is expected to feature a larger 6.55-inch LTPO panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate.

For the Pro models, the iPhone 18 Pro may include a 6.27-inch LTPO screen, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could come with a 6.86-inch LTPO display. Interestingly, both Pro models might drop the traditional Dynamic Island design.

The leak also suggests that Apple is now in the sample production stage for the iPhone 18 series and could be moving away from the Dynamic Island for its premium models - a design first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro.

Previous rumors have also hinted at under-display Face ID for the iPhone 18 lineup, potentially replacing the current pill-shaped cutout with a cleaner display and a small punch-hole for the selfie camera.
