OnePlus is said to be testing a new mid-size smartphone focused on performance and battery life. Leaks suggest the company is experimenting with display sizes and battery configurations to balance power, endurance, and everyday usability. Rumors point to flat LTPS screens, large batteries, and performance-oriented hardware, hinting at a device that could sit between OnePlus’ mainstream and high-performance lines.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, a factory code-named “Jiajia” is evaluating a 6.59-inch flat display for this upcoming phone. The device is expected to feature a 1.5K LTPS panel with rounded corners and uniform bezels on all sides. Testing appears to be ongoing, targeting a mid-size model with strong performance capabilities.
The tipster also mentioned that the display comes from a domestic Chinese supplier rather than Samsung. Regarding battery, mid-size devices like this are expected to reach capacities around 8,000mAh, while larger screens face limitations on battery scaling.
While OnePlus has not officially confirmed the model, the leaks suggest a new phone designed to deliver sustained performance and long battery life, potentially bridging the gap between the company’s regular and high-end devices.
