Asus Refutes Zenfone Division Shutdown Report, Says Zenfone 10 Production to Continue: Details

Asus Zenfone 10 won't mark the end of the series, contrary to recent reports. The company dispels rumors of a Zenfone division shutdown and denies claims about the absence of Asus Zenfone 11 next year. Both Zenfone and ROG Phone lineups will expand, with the Zenfone 10, the latest addition, launched in June.

In response to Technews Taiwan's report suggesting the discontinuation of the Zenfone series, Asus officially confirms plans for a successor in 2024. The company states, "Rumors of the Asus Zenfone 10 being the final generation and the shutdown of the Zenfone line are false." Asus emphasizes ongoing Zenfone and ROG Phone production.

Technews Taiwan's report speculated an internal restructuring at Asus, implying the end of the Zenfone division after Zenfone 10. Asus refutes these claims, referring to Q2 earnings and urging anticipation for their 2024 lineup.

Zenfone 10, launched in June, boasts a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and 144Hz refresh rate. Powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, it offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Camera-wise, it features a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone runs on Android 13-based Asus ZenUI and houses a 4,300mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.
